Thank you for sharing your post. I totally agree with you that students are prone to conflict between media literacy and factual information. Students may lack the ability to analyze the authenticity and reliability of messages. Also, in this week’s video, Smith points out that people tend to believe their own opinions, which can also create conflict. We need to make clearer judgments and fight our inner beliefs.
